Ariel is a young mermaid, who lives with her friends and family under the sea. She is constantly fascinated by the human world and although her teacher “Mr Lobster” warns her that humans are dangerous, she wants to learn all about them. One day she finds a boy in trouble in the water and she saves his life. Ariel wants to follow him to the human world but realises she can't walk. The evil sea witch, seeing an opportunity, offers her a way - but at what cost?
With comedy and music we follow Ariel’s adventures under the sea and on land, all the while involving the audience. This show covers vocabulary of; parts of the body, colours, animal vocabulary. It also covers the CLIL topic of marine and human habitats.
